Tips for Tuesday: Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen Peroxide

Among the many uses for hydrogen peroxide, there's a little trick that I learned from my mother-in-law several years ago that I've used time and time again. Did you know that peroxide can take out blood stains in clothing? My mother-in-law is a nurse and told me that she uses it often to remove blood from her scrubs.

It's simple! Just soak the soiled portion of the garment in peroxide for 15-20 minutes, then rinse in cool water and throw it in the laundry machine. It works beautifully!
